Welsh planning inspectors grant gypsy traveller site in Hawarden

  • Source: North.Wales (Flintshire): The Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) has granted permission for a gypsy/traveller site on previously agricultural land near Gladstone Way (off the A494 Queensferry junction) in Hawarden. Flintshire County Council had refused permission, but inspectors ruled the council was failing its statutory duty under the Housing (Wales) Act.
